Newton April 2006

Avril 2006
Coming to life was not easy for Newton.........He have been
a very courageous and brave dane.
This is why we often referred to him as
THE MIRACLE PUPPY !

We lost his mom, Danika, and all of his brothers and
 sister in the whelping process.

Newton is a fighther! A survivor!

Story of a miracle.....

      Newton's story
2002
This year will always means something very special to us.
This was the year of our very first litter. In fact, this was our third try of breeding Danika and in our mind, definately the last try no matter what would be the result.

July 7 2002.
Everything went wrong from A to Z.
We lost Danika and 4 puppies at birth. We were happy that 2 did survived.

Then began a very looooooong fight to keep alive our two treasured puppies. But chances were not good for us even after all of our loses, 11 days later, our fawn boy died too. So there was only one left, our black boy.

Then began the *real* fight. There is no words to tell how hard and stessful this battle of keeping him alive was. Even today, collecting all of our thoughts and mixed emotions cannot be translated into logical words. Those very powerfull feelings even still bring tears down on my face.
As stressed as I was to keep my only remaining connection to my sweet princess Danika alive, I never enjoyed the early puppyhood of our black boy until he was 10 weeks old.

Today.
Newton is wiht us. There is *no* words to tell how proud we are in having succeeded to keep him alive. This was a major challenge in our lives. As for the conformation part, never forget we never had the chance to chose "pick" of the litter! Newton is the only one who survived! So would he do good into a conformation ring, we would feel lucky and bless for this.
And mostly, we couldn't have done this without the support of some very nice people into this breed, like Dale Tarbox of Sandale Great Dane

We are still looking for pictures related to Newton's pedigree.
All names in gold into the following pedigree are all the ones we are looking for
